It's Tough Being an Emo Kid

It is hard finding a niche that is right for you. Everyone faces that time in their life when they are looking for something to hold on to. Something that makes them feel like they are a part of something or that lets me express who they really are inside.

For me, that was emo. Emo music and style lets me express the child inside me who screams to have his needs met. I need love. I need dialogue. I need attention. Being an emo kid today is not as easy as it looks. Getting just the right hair, make-up, shoes and clothes is hard work.
