That's a terrible misconception. Sometimes these emo kids are just emo blobs. They feel like blobs on the inside and result to fashion to bring attention to themselves. The dark makeup and clothing is simply a mask they wear.

Get to know an emo kid, and you may recognize these blobs. Bring a little sunlight into their lives and they just might get out of their shell and open up to you.

For all you normal and emo girls out there, let me give you some advice. Do not fall for hot emo guys! Do not let their "soft" and "warm" side pull you in. It's a trap! These guys can be very clingy and are extremely sensitive to every little thing you may say. Don't be fooled with the cool hair!

You can't joke with this guy because if you pretend to criticize him, he will take you seriously and cry in a corner for hours. Girls, you need a MAN. Not a wimpy boy that sobs and cuts himself if you didn't text him back while you were at work. Find a good guy who will take care of you and is willing to understand. There's nothing wrong with finding an nice guy, just don't get with an emo guy.

From the time they are born, all the way until just before they start middle school, kids seem to be quite normal. It's when they begin to go through puberty that everything changes. They begin to associate themselves with strange subcultures of the new generation, and you might even lose touch with them entirely if you're not careful.

This is because it is simply defined by poetry filled with lots of emotion. Almost all poetry is written with emotion. If its not emotional, then it probably isn't good.

Love poetry can be about love lost, love gained and even lack of love. Emo poetry doesn't even have to be sad. Put your heart into your words. The emotions in your soul should drip out of the pages. Anyone can successfully write emo love poetry, especially if you have experienced it.
