Making Connections through the Emo Song

Making fun of other kids and groups is all part of growing up and learning how to be part of your own group. There are things that kids and teenagers just have to go through in order to become more mature in their later years. With all these different cliques these days, there is never going to be an end to the jeering that happens in the schoolyard.

For the emo clique, there's a significantly large base of people that are set on making wisecracks at the subculture. Things like the emo song and cartoon versions of the subculture pop up everywhere and are continually fueled by people that find common ground in their pleasure. It helps kids connect with other kids and form friendships that might become something very important to them.
